Does anyone know when the racing starts? I know the whole thing starts at 8am but what about the actual races?

Like most "events" here there is never any accurate timely information. Mostly you only ever find out about it the week after.
Anyway I believe the races are on Sunday but they might change their minds and race on Saturday instead.

A good idea these tents: not for the sun this time but for a very light and short rain










Wouldn't like to meet this one in a paddy field. A strong one !
















Next race should be in October, with Long Boat races at the same times... if still enough water in the lake!

I was there today as well, what a hoot, the very slight rain was just right for keeping the dust down.
