Hello, I will be applying for a 90 day single entry non-o based on marriage to a Thai national in a few months. Just a little confused with how to deal with my travel plans after receiving the visa.

Will apply for the visa the last week in October at the consulate in the Maldives, where I am currently working with my wife. I will return to Thailand on November 7th, activating the non-o visa. However I must leave again on Nov 13th.  Is it possible to get a re-entry permit allowing me to keep the visa valid so I can re-enter on it when I return again on Dec 13th?

Also, when we would the best time to apply for the 1 year extension? I have heard during the last month, correct?

Thank you!

You can get a re-entry permit for your 90 day permit to stay you get from the visa, The fee will be 1000 baht.

You can apply  for the extesnion during the last 30 days (45 at some offices) of your 90 day entry.
