Fifteen new political parties sought to register with the Election Commission last month

Fifteen new political parties applied for legal status with the Election Commission (EC) between June 1 and July 7.

EC deputy spokesman Prasert Suthison (ประเสริฐ สุทธิสนธ์) said the registration process of six of the 15 has been completed, bringing the total number of parties recognized by the EC to 39.

The EC, however, has asked the Constitution Court to dissolve seven of the 39, including the Thai Rak Thai and Democrat parties, Pol. Col. Prasert said.

He declined comments on remarks that some new parties might be “back-ups” for members of big parties which may be dissolved.

Pol. Col. Prasert said parties which are dissolved can re-register themselves using the same names and logos with the EC after having their accounts examined by the Office of the State Audit Commission.

Executives of the dissolved parties, however, are barred from registering new parties or holding executive posts in other parties for five years, he said.

Wonder if Toxin is behind any of these............or am i being paranoid

I don't think he's behind *any* of them...I think he's behind *all* of them!!!

I heard that he's going to try to change the law so that he doesn't have to be *behind* them....he's going to make it legal so he can *lead* them!!!

And, no, you are not paranoid...paranoia is an *ungrounded* fear and in fact your fears are firmly grounded in the reality of Thai politics.
