Crime Police Raid Massage Parlour in Lopburi Over Illegal Sex Services

A popular traditional massage parlour in central Lopburi was raided and several women arrested after an undercover police operation exposed a hidden prostitution ring operating under the guise of massage services. The sting was led by Pol Lt Gen Songkrot Krirkkritya, Commander of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD), who instructed Pol Col Warit Pathumarak and Pol Lt Supoj Thongma-aeng to conduct the covert operation with support from Lopburi Provincial Health officials. Posing as a client, an undercover officer paid 400 baht for a one-hour oil massage. Around 40 minutes into the session, the masseuse allegedly offered a “special service”, referring to sexual services, for an additional 1,500 baht. After agreeing to the deal and paying the total of 1,900 baht using marked banknotes, the officer signalled the arrest team to move in. Officers stormed the second-floor room mid-service and made the arrests. Ms. Wilaiwan 30, was arrested and charged with soliciting for prostitution and engaging in activities within a brothel for personal gain. Ms. Kamolchanok 36, believed to be the owner, faces multiple charges including operating a sex business, running a health establishment without proper authorisation and profiting from prostitution. Four other women, Ms. Arutsara 41, Ms. Chatchadaporn 38, Ms. Thidawan 37 and Ms. Prapatsorn 30, were also arrested for participating in prostitution activities inside the premises, located in Pa Tan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lopburi. During interrogation, the suspects admitted to offering sexual services alongside massage treatments. Authorities also confirmed that the business was unlicensed, and the establishment lacked the required health service permits. All six suspects were taken into custody and transferred to Mueang Lopburi Police Station for legal proceedings. Officials warned that an increasing number of massage parlours are illegally operating as fronts for sexual exploitation and prostitution. In some cases, these establishments are also linked to human trafficking, particularly involving vulnerable women and migrant workers. Authorities reminded the public that such activities are not only criminal but also serious violations of human rights. Picture courtesy of Thai Rath Authorities are intensifying their search for the notorious YouTuber "Toon Pachon.3", real name Napontorn Fakfueangboon, following a dramatic shooting incident linked to the illegal sale of e-cigarettes. The incident occurred during a covert operation in Pathum Thani by the Pak Khlong Rangsit police. Six officers and volunteer members set up a sting outside a convenience store in the Rangsit City Flat area. Their aim was to crack down on the illicit sale of e-cigarettes advertised on social media. During the sting, two suspects in a grey Honda City became suspicious and opened fire. Sergeant Asanai Ruangsai, aged 28, was shot in the left arm and right thigh, while volunteer officer Apichai Chuenjai, aged 53, sustained a critical injury to his groin. On 29th June, the getaway vehicle, a grey Honda City with the number plate 1 กญ 6287 Bangkok, was found abandoned in the Don Mueang area. Two men, both covered in tattoos, emerged, claiming they were fleeing a shooting. A witness recounted, "They asked for help, saying they had been shot at. We allowed them to leave the car but took photos for evidence. The skinny one ran towards the road, followed by the heavier man who was covered in blood. The car was full of bullet holes, so we reported it to the police." Investigations quickly identified Napontorn Fakfueangboon, famous on social media as "Toon Pachon.3", as one of the suspects. Despite his claims of reformation and attempts to dissuade youth from crime through his YouTube channel, Napontorn has a history of legal troubles. Accident Three Dead After Inhaling Toxic Gas on Fishing Boat in Chumphon

An incident aboard a fishing vessel has left three crew members dead and another in critical condition after they reportedly inhaled toxic gas while retrieving fish from the ship’s storage hold. The incident occurred on the night of 28 June, when emergency responders from the Rak Sintham Foundation rescue unit in Pak Nam Chumphon were alerted at around 20:30 that four crewmen had collapsed on a fishing boat after entering a fish storage hold below deck. When rescue teams arrived, they found that three of the men had already succumbed to what is believed to be hydrogen sulfide gas, emitted from decaying fish. The deceased have been named as Mr. Noi 45, Mr. Weerayut 37, and Mr. Pramote 33. A fourth victim, 28-year-old Mr. Arthit, was resuscitated by rescue workers using CPR and remains under close medical supervision in a critical condition. According to Mr. Amarit 46, a fellow crew member, the boat had departed from a pier in Prachuap Khiri Khan on 26 June with over 30 crew aboard. The vessel, engaged in mackerel fishing and had secured approximately 300 kilograms of fish during the trip. The catch was stored in seven 200-litre containers, packed with ice, and lowered into the vessel’s cold storage hold. The crew continued fishing over the course of two days before returning to shore to unload the catch at a pier in Pak Nam Chumphon. The incident happened as they were emptying the last compartment, which contained fish stored during the initial days of the trip. Mr. Amarit explained that when the first crewman descended into the storage area to retrieve the fish, he immediately collapsed. One by one, three others followed in an attempt to help, each succumbing within minutes to the toxic atmosphere below deck. A fifth crewman, suspecting gas exposure, used the vessel’s onboard air pump and a mask to safely descend and retrieve the unconscious men. Pak Nam Chumphon police have launched an investigation, collecting evidence from the vessel and recording witness statements. Post-mortem examinations have been completed as officials work to confirm the cause of death. Relatives of the deceased have travelled from Prachuap Khiri Khan to collect the bodies.
