Advice Please

I went to the transport office opposite Sukhumvit soi 62/1

I thought register the bike in the girlfriends name easier.

They said that as the bikes last owner registered the bike at Chatuchak Transport office

that it had to be done there.

Plus the bike was 6 years old so we had to take the bike with us to be tested at the same place.

Is this all correct you can only transfer the bike at the office it was last done.

Can you not get a bike tested at a local Yamaha dealer.

Thanks in advance

yes, if the bike does not leave the province.

no, but the bike can be tested at any place, which has a yellow "gear" on it's sign, but since you have to show the bike at the DLT too, it would make sense, to do the test somewhere there.
