webfact Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 EBOLA OUTBREAKForeign engineer, footballers in Phetchburi monitoredBANGKOK: -- The Phetchaburi provincial public health office is closely monitoring a foreign engineer and four African Phetchaburi FC footballers for Ebola disease.The office's Dr Prajak Wattanakul said the petroleum engineer had returned from working in Guinea.The engineer, who is married to a Thai, has shown no symptoms of the Ebola virus. The doctor said four African footballers who play for Phetchaburi FC, were also being monitored but added he was not overly concerned as they had no returned home in recent months.The disease has 21-day incubation period.
