george Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Mae Hong Son, Tak residents warned of flash floods BANGKOK: -- The Meteorological Department Sunday warned people living in low-lying areas and near waterways to brace themselves for flash floods during the next two days. The department said heavy rains would be unleashed in the two provinces by the influence of the southwest monsoon wind during the next two days. Bates Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Indeed very bad news ... I live in Mae Sot with my GF. The past week we had already severe rain which flooded the roads for about 5 cm. Luckely until now the rain seemed to stop once a while so the water could find it's way to the underground.. seems like this is going to change now....
