Hotel/bungalow On Koh Samet

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone could advise of a hotel or resort on Koh Samet that has beachfront bungalows at a reasonable price. Not been there before and would welcome some advice. Would like an area with lots of activities

Thanks in advance

Thanks I tried to do a search but it didnt come up with anything

Got a few suggestions and having a look at them now.

Thanks again

Try the Kacha Resort on White Sands Beach.....had a great stay there this April. Very, very nice mid-range resirt. I had a deluxe bungalow for about $45.00 U.S.... They gave me the bungalow in front of the pool, and 10 yards from the sand. The pool is real nice, with lots of families staying there, and the beach is right in front of you.....

It has a very nice beach front restaurant, with a better than average breakfest buffet. It has of the better dinner spots for the price than most of the places on the beach. The beach is right at you feet, and you walk the lenght of White Sands Beach. I'm planning to return there next April again, you just can't beat what you get for the price.....

Good Luck, and have wonderful trip.....

Peace,

Mayacan

Sorry aboout that last reply....I mis-read your question. I was talking about Koh Chang & the Kacha Resort...oopps....

But, I'll be staying at the Vonduern Villa on Koh Samet at the end of July for a week on Koh Samet, so if you haven't gone by then, I'll give you some info. on Samet...

Once again, sorry..

Peace,

Mayacan

I think the buisest area is Sai Kaew beach there is plenty to do at night (bars disco's etc) its a great place for swimming ant the sand is so soft its like walking on coffee mate there are bungalows for rent and small hotels for around 700 baht per night (very basic though) best time to go is mid week and as thaiflyer1 says a good place to book your minibus and boat is malibu samet travel on soi Yamoto 13/1 pattaya

500 baht round trip and they pick you up at your hotel
