iPhone 5S file transfer

Featured Replies

Quite a newbie with Apple and struggling with the iPhone.

Everything else i have is Android and sending pictures for example is easy. Either bluetooth or via the micro sim etc.

I have some piccies on my iPhone and wanted to send them to my wifes Samsung but the Bluetooth won't connect and transfer them.

What do you guys find is the easiest way to send stuff to a non-Apple device?

Have you successfully PAIRED the devices. Even with Android Phones I sometimes have to reverse the Pairing process before a link is made.

The EASIEST method I found was using the LINE messaging app

Other suggestions:

Share Over Dropbox or Another 'Cloud' service

iCloud Photo Sharing

Email the File (just keep the total under 10MB per email)

There is an IOS app called File Transfer , it is free and does the trick.

iPhone Bluetooth does not support file transfer, only connections to devices such as loudspeakers.

The easiest way I found is to plug in the lightning cable to the phone and a PC, you can then use the Windows File Manager to access the photos.

To get music and eBooks onto the phone I use iTunes.
