August 26, 201411 yr I can think of several Lanna-Thai and Muang language songs that are actually about Chiang Mai so those are easy. You know, "Saow ChIang Mai", "Long Mae Ping", "Ban Bon Doi", "Uy Kham", "Mida" et al. But would there be any non-Thai songs (Western or otherwise) of any style or era that remind you of Chiang Mai's vibe, or are in some other way linked with or related to Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand? Can be either in style or lyrics; doesn't matter in what way. If you know just the song(s), please suggest! ( Again, the song might superficially seem totally unrelated, with a more personal or downright esoteric connection. ) Edited August 26, 201411 yr by WinnieTheKhwai
August 26, 201411 yr There is a Powderfinger song, I forget the name, they shot the filmclip on narawat bridge during loikratong a few years back.
August 26, 201411 yr It's so nice to have you home again. New Seekers. Blue Bayou. Linda Ronstadt. Not Chiang Mai related, but related to my feelings when I'm in Farangland, away from home and separated from my family.
