BANGKOK: -- A 48-year-old housekeeper was arrested Saturday for stealing over THB2-million worth of high-end clothes and accessories from her boss’s luxury Bangkok condo to model on Facebook.

Police arrested Supicha Puttharaksa from her home in the capital’s Bueng Kum district, where they found evidence of goods stolen from employer Ratchanee Tarillit, including nine brand-name clothing items, a gold ring and over THB2-million worth of pawn tickets.

The police also found more stolen goods hidden in Supicha’s storage at the victim’s home at Century Heights Condominium in Soi Sukhumvit 23 as well as photos of the housekeeper flaunting the expensive outfits on Facebook.

"and over THB2-million worth of pawn tickets."

makes you wonder why her boss was collecting pawn tickets...... lost in translation we hope.

I think that the boss was the broker / lender on these tickets. The maid thought she might be able to collect on them.

Those are the house keeper's pawn tickets.

Can easily see that she pawn those expensive items after parading them on facebook!

2 million in pawn tickets !,so that must mean actual value of the goods

must have been 5-6 million at least, the rich cow she stole from must

have had a load of stuff . Facebook has a lot to answer for.

Looks like the copper on the right may have helped himself to a nice new gold watch too...........

That was a donation from the victim, to make sure the cops turned a blind eye to what was really going on in that apartment coffee1.gif

Strange that the purported value of the ''pawn tickets'' is around two million baht.

Perhaps we should ask as to why the person or persons who allegedly lost (?) their valuable possessions(?) didn't act with a little more alacrity regarding the presumed loss ?

We sure are not talking about pawning the family T.V. here.

Perhaps the person who has ''lost those possessions had or has been a trifle indiscreet in dealings with gambling or affairs of the heart and payment was needed to ensure a continued pampered and peaceful lifestyle,or perhaps the maid has been doing the financial laundry for her boss?

A very strange setup, and setup may be exactly what it is so as some one else can cover their posterior.
