Belgian 80, Attacked and Robbed by Teenage Gang on Christmas Day in Pattaya
You seem to look at older expats in the same eye, that all are on their last legs, are in wheelchairs, unable to protect themselves or weak. Humbling will come your way soon, and then you'll realize what it's like to grow old, especially if you haven't been taking care of yourself, and even if you have. There are plenty of people in their 80's and 90's that are fully responsible for themselves, who drive, exercise and even work. A nursing home is for those who aren't capable of this. -

Any Alternative Music bars/venues in Bangkok?
Thanks everyone for the feedback. Can't say I am surprised. But disappointed all the same. Was in Taiwan for 6 months a while back and was surprised they had some pretty cool places. And a couple of good alternative night clubs. Looks like Bangkok is catering to a different market. Jazz, classical, too, I like. Maybe I might have more luck in those departments? -

Chinese Man Arrested in Pattaya for Pawn Shop Scam with Fake Gold
Wonder how he did this? Sleigh of hand with a real one? Gold shop owners look for the hallmarks of a handful of big producers and most/all?won't deal in gold that doesn't originate from them. -

Teenage Knife Attack at Thai Tourist Spot Sparks Youth Violence Fears
Could also be a case of bullying her and she had enough. We all know she shouldn’t have stabbed him, but considering how the teachers, her parents and the police don’t often help, this stuff happens all too often. They should also ban phones in school. They can drop them off when they get there and pick them up when they leave. I would love to know the full story, but I’m sure that’s not going to happen. -

Dozens Feared Dead in Crash After Passenger Flight Diverts From Russia
Air security and investigation company, Osprey Flight Solutions, announced their initial findings: "Citing assessments of footage of the crash, the damage to the aircraft, and recent military activity, aviation-security firm, Osprey Flight Solutions, said in an alert to airlines that the flight “was likely shot down by a Russian military air-defense system.” " Compounding the problems the doomed flight faced, flight tracking site Flightradar24 also reported GPS spoofing and jamming were being used by Russia in the area, possibly accounting for why the plane went well out of its way when attempting to divert to Aktau. "Flight-tracking service Flightradar24 said heavy GPS spoofing in the area, which tampers with signals so a plane’s position can’t be tracked, could have complicated any diversion." If so, not only did Russia shoot the plane down, it also fatally interfered with its ability to reach a safe airport. What a great bunch of guys. Rheumatoid Arthritis Thread
Hello wtboatr, can you let us know how you're doing and what eds you found in Thailand that may have worked? There are many Bio-similars out now and an option for shipment from India. I've been on Humira for 2 years now, living in Indonesia and have compared prices in Thailand and Indonesia and they are about the same...$275 per epipen.
