Take my wife ... please!

BANGKOK: -- A heartbreaking incident of motorbike theft prompted that ancient one-liner from the victim yesterday, who uploaded a video pleading with the thief to return his bike in exchange for his wife.

Following the heartbreaking incident where his motorbike was stolen yesterday, Facebook user “Kip Kathi” promptly released a viral video that spread across the Thai media.

Standing in front of a large vinyl banner, “Kip Kathi” appealed to the thief on camera to return his Honda Wave under a banner reading “Dear well-regarded thief, you stole my bike? You should have taken my wife!”

The thief should stick with the bike. Better ride, and less front-end chatter.

Thais do have humour. Bring the bike back - desperate Dan - and I'll slice off your fat chops before you get near my wife.

Bravo to this man! clap2.gifwai.gif

He's smart. The bike can't climb out of the window at night and come back home on its own. The wife can.

Bike is far, far less problematic. Pretty much does what you want it to do. Just can't cook, clean, iron......

wow, he really took the trouble to make a huge banner, that's just weird.

How does the saying go?

If it's got tits or an engine..........It'll give you problems.

wow, he really took the trouble to make a huge banner, that's just weird.

Though not quite as weird as the offer is making.

Obviously this individual just sees his wife as another piece of property he can decide what to do with and who can own it.

Yes, I know he is trying to be funny, it's just he's not.

Reminds of the joke ...

What do a moped and a fat girl have in common .....

Both fun to ride until your friends find out

hope the wife reads the message and leaves him, so he can go stroke his bike or mattras

That says it all....

Thais dont give a damn about others...

Which is good, because even the person who knows the thief, will dob him in for a few THB.... But instead... the victim posted a joke instead of a reward.... Jokes on you buddy... cheesy.gif

Old bike, but it got more bang for the dollar (baht) then the alternative, I suppose.

God how jaded we are . It's a joke folks get a life it must be sad to sit in your dark rooms and look at the life just pass you bye .

This is an old joke, even in America. "Take my wife.... Please". I don't think he meant any harm.

I think we need a picture of the bike

its a Honda wave,, have a look out of your window, chances are you will see a dozen of them.

It would be more useful with a pic of his missus.

The old joke comes to mind.. "she's like a Honda Wave, great fun but you wouldn't want your mates to see you riding it"

I have an idea,

swop-my-wife.com

Where you can swop your wife for something useful

Different sighs. A few men have sighed because their women were abducted; most, because no one wanted to abduct them.

So I can get a better wife."

Even if it was meant to be a joke, his wife will lose face. As a result, he's being very disrespectful and deserves to be thrown in the stocks.

I swapped my wife once ...... coffee1.gif

Isn't her emotional non-sensory (senseless) imagined suffering that causes her to imagine she's lost face the real disrespect? I don't believe he held a gun to her head to force her to marry him. I'm vaguely aware it's the other way around.

So now I'm praying for the end of time

To hurry up and arrive

'Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you

I don't think that I can really survive

I'll never break my promise or forget my vow

But God only knows what I can do right now

I'm praying for the end of time

So I can end my time with you.
