Multi Entry Non O Extensions

Featured Replies

Once i obtain a multi non O based on marriage at the end of my first 90days can i get a 60day extension (5 months) then leave & repeat? i have seen people say you can get 17 months out of a MNO? Shouldn't it be aprox 20 months? can someone please explain how this is done

Julie ... if I can piggy back on your OP.

I'm looking for a Non-O Visa, single entry ... can I extend that in Thailand?

If yes ... for how long?

I've had a Non-O Visa before.

A multiple entry non-O is valid for one year.

Each entry gives you 90 days.

If you make your last entry just before the visa expires you get 90 days that you can extend with 60 days at immigrations for a total of 17 months.

You can do a 60 day extension for any non-o visa entry.

I can't see how it could be stretched to a total of 20 months. 90 + 60 + 90 +60 gets you to the 10 months. Then do a border run for anther 90 days but leave after 60 days to get an entry before the visa expires to get another 90 days gets you to 15 months and then a anther 60 days to get a total of 17 months.

Ok i got it now, i was only counting entry's & had forgotten about 12 month expiry date. Thankyou

I have one more question = Once i receive my Non O (in home country) is it activated upon entry into Thailand?

Validity of the visa starts when it's issued, not by first entry.

Does that apply to me?

I can enter on a single entry Non-O, have the 90 days and then extend it for another 60 days?
