What is Trump really trying to tell us in his latest speech?
Your reading skills are very weak. There is only one sentence in my post that mentions people's lives being damaged..... and that sentence clearly identifies the lives that are being discussed. The initial sentence only mentions that lies have been told by members of a sham of a political organization. Arguing with dimwitted weak readers is a waste of my time. I bid you adieu. -

UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud
No, you paid for the pensioners at the time. Not for your own pensions. Imo there is a moral obligation, but you didn't pay for it. You paid for private pensions, if any. -

Revealed, Why Kamala Harris Skipped Joe Rogan Interview
After her colossal babble fest word salad and humiliation during the FOX bret baier interview someone in kamalas camp realized what a joe rogan floor mopping of Kamala would do for already dwindling electability. She's far too stupid to articulate policy and actually should never had been installed by the undemocratic and feckless DNC. She has failure written all over her. Total disaster if she's dumb enough to even be in the same county with Joe Rogan, she would get nuked and people would still be laughing 2 weeks later. -

Thailand Considers Law Revisions to Attract Foreign Real Estate Investment
I don't think all Thais are poor and never said that. But prices in most markets these days tend to be driven by the high end segment, which is why housing has become unaffordable for ordinary middle-class people in most major markets. Real estate markets are notorious for boom/bust cycles. Just the other day a major developer clearly said that they were targetting the luxury market because most Thais were too indebted to afford buying a house and the lower end of the market was stagnating. As an aside, Trump declared bankruptcy with his companies six times. In fact, he said it was a smart business decision because you get to wipe out your debts. Many developers end up in bankruptcy at one point or another. And if the market is doing so well here, why the desperatioin to change the laws? When Srettha first tried to change the ownership structure to 99 year leases and 100 percent foreign ownership for condos, he gave as his reason the need to attract more foreign buyers. I don't even know why this would be controversial it's so obvious. -

Trump's Cabinet of horrors exposes his totalitarian drift
Then you will know this but have failed to mention it. Best not to call other people disingenuous when it can clearly be argued this is exactly what you've been. Gaetz, 42, who represented Florida’s District 1 covering part of the Florida Panhandle, was investigated by the FBI on sex-trafficking allegations involving a 17-year-old and was not charged with any crime. The federal investigation ended last year. Gaetz has said he was the target of an extortion plot. A House Ethics Committee investigation was launched in April 2021. It was deferred at the request of the Department of Justice and reauthorized in 2023 after the department withdrew that deferral request. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/woman-told-house-ethics-committee-saw-gaetz-sex-minor-lawyer-says-rcna180435 As for the Ethics Committee Report The report comes years after DOJ dropped its investigation into the same claims on the grounds that the two central witnesses had serious credibility issues. Yet these are the same two central witnesses the House Ethics Committee has relied on for its critical report of Gaetz—the same report it is leaking to compliant reporters as part of a coordinated effort to thwart his nomination as President-elect Donald Trump’s next attorney general. https://thefederalist.com/2024/11/17/house-probe-into-matt-gaetz-relies-on-witnesses-doj-found-lacked-credibility/ "I'm going to strongly request that the Ethics Committee not issue the report, because that is not the way we do things in the House," Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, told reporters in the US Capitol. Gaetz, 42, who denies any wrongdoing, resigned from Congress on Wednesday, bringing the ethics probe to an end two days before the committee had been expected to release the document. The former congressman faced a nearly three-year Justice Department investigation into sex-trafficking allegations involving a 17-year-old girl. His office said in 2023 he had been told by prosecutors he would not be charged. Johnson said he planned to urge House Ethics Committee Chairman Michael Guest not to provide the Gaetz report to the Senate Judiciary Committee. "The rules of the House have always been that a former member is beyond the jurisdiction of the Ethics Committee," said Johnson, who returned on Friday morning from meeting Trump at the president-elect's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. "I think it's a terrible breach of protocol and tradition and the spirit of the rule," he added. "I think that would be a terrible precedent to set." https://www.odt.co.nz/news/world/speaker-wants-ethics-report-trump-pick-gaetz-secret -
