We are applying for my husband's family visit visa. They say any document not in English needs to be translated. Our salaries are paid into our krung thai accounts and then transferred into kasikorn. Kasikorn is not creating any problems because they have an English version. Krung thai is causing us some problems though as only our names, dates and amount in accounts are in English. Each of the columns are labelled in thai. So my question, is would this need to be translated into English? I did ask them for an English version but they say they don't have one.

We applied in October 2013, family visit visa.

We translated marriage certificate and the birth certificate of our child, nothing else. Bank statements were submitted as Bangkok Bank and Government Savings Bank supplied - with Thai script.

Visa was issued within 10 days. We did supply further evidence of our relationship via dated photographs and times my partner had met the UK resident membvers of my family. Perhaps importantly, my sister in the UK sponsored the application and supplied evidence of her financial status via bank statements as well, obviously all in English.

Not sure but maybe just get internet banking and English would be available? Am sure any translation service would be able to provide service (such as for marriage certificates and such).

But as said above suspect Thai can be read by Embassies in Thailand. For use outside Thailand suspect translation would be required.
