I have a Power Drive button next to the gear lever in my Isuzu MU7. When I click on the button, you will get one light in the dashboard that Power Drive is enabled.

But what is Power Drive? When to use Power Drive?

Have seen the manual, but every subject is in Thai.

Anyone know?

I have the same on my D-Max. As far as I can tell it just disables the "overdrive" in each gear, it does nothing as far as "power" is concerned.

I tried my power drive switch for the first time the other day and noticed that when it was engaged, I could 'accelerate' (as though I was trying to overtake - pass - another vehicle) at a much higher RPM range than normal!

It keeps the auto box in lower gears , for longer , used for overtaking / towing / hill climbing.
