samran
Paul Well, finally! But actually not all that long. First post here on TV was on 31 August, and you got back to the UK yesterday, 9 Sept (?). Longish thread, tho, 198 postings, including some wandering, but interesting. Some lessons learned here for everyone. Mac People knock the Thai civil service, but on this occasion, you have to give them credit. They can be pretty good on this stuff. Much faster than when my Thailand born daughter went to Australia and had her Australian passport (issued via the embassy in Thailand) expire while there. You'd think they'd accept the same documents down in OZ that the embassy found acceptable in Thailand to apply for an OZ passport? No, but that is another story. louse1953
Would it be more expeditious to "lose" the Thai passport then apply for an emergency travel document from the British Embassy? Will that defo work ? No.
