The Sunday Nation

BANGKOK: -- Police yesterday continued to hunt for a fourth suspect after the arrests of Master Sergeant First Class Sangwal Phosri and two civilian accomplices on Friday over the alleged extortion and illegal detention of an Indian businessmen in Bangkok's Sai Mai and Watcharapol areas.

The arrests stemmed from complaints by three Indian businessmen, one of whom was reportedly rescued by passing soldiers.

Sangwal, 45; Sathaporn Thongprai, 37; and Amnat Khungsaichon, 51; reportedly confessed to having extorted money from some 50 Indians, each time receiving between Bt10,000 and Bt20,000.

The three men - who are facing charges of extortion, illegal detention, assault and carrying weapons in a public place - were brought to Ratchadapisek Criminal Court yesterday morning to apply for a 12-day detention order pending investigation.

They sorted it out already.

His 2 accomplices were Cambodian working in their own.

The Cambodians will be jailed for 3 year and then deported to their home town somewhere in Issaan,

extortion hotline anyone ? direct number to the general ?

These criminals are parasites sucking blood out of Thailand. They need to be crushed once and for all, and that means all assets confiscated and locked up for a very very long time.
