atyclb
since it says "italian style" i tried it. words cannot describe how awfully un-italian it is. has pasty appearance to boot. ruined good pasta and mozzarella cheese. is there any real italian sauce made in thailand? gerry123
to your question NO as a comment i cant be thinking how you expect any processed sauce italian or other to be truly authentic you can buy all the ingredients to make your own with the basic cooking savvy
AyG
If it's the stuff I'm thinking of, in the glass jars, the label says on it "Thai taste", which is a warning that a vast amount of sugar has been added, making it totally unfit for consumption by normal human beings. Millian
Jesus this stuff is disgusting! Not even the one labeled Thai taste either (that's a different one). So sour, had to throw it away. How did it ever get past a taster panel i do not know. Prego is much better than this and that's saying a lot.

RichCor
Had to laugh. Went today to buy some dried spaghetti. After reading this thread, had to have a look to see what they had in canned sauces... Tesco Bolognese Pasta Sauce ..."Inspired by Italy".
GaryB1263
The pasta is good quality here. I buy Prego sauce. Italian Sausage and Mushroom is my favorite. It's the number 1 food here for me. You people making your own with Thai tomatoes are happy with the tomatoes? I would try but I would need some help with the recipe. I am from Ohio, USA so I am use to the finest tomatoes money can buy. Around home they cost almost as much as ground beef or affordable steak. Or we in Ohio can grow our own in the summer. A plant cost $1.59 and it will yield 4 to 5 kilos of tomatoes.
