Richard W
One problem I frequently encounter is converting Thai names from the Roman script to the Thai script. Are there any useful lists of placenames, surnames and forenames? I can find lists of provinces and Bangkok admininstrative districts, but is it all going to have to be so bitty? On a similar tack, are there any useful lists of abbreviated names? I can remember being totally baffled by 'Jaran' as a Bangkok placename. meadish_sweetball
Do you mean 'Jaran' as in 'Thanon Jaransanitwong' in Thonburi?
