I applied for a re entry permit last friday at Don Muang Airport. As i have done a few times over the past 10 months. never a problem before. but this time the immigration staff had a big problem because my application was on two pages that I downloaded from TV. they told me never to use the two pages application again and only use the form that they hand you upon presentation of your boarding pass...

Why the sudden change in policy..?

Just wondering if any other person has had the same reaction from the immigration there....?

The official forms are available on the immigration website here but believe 2 pages should be printed on one piece of paper. I used the download for my last TM.7 extension of stay that way.

TM.8, actually, and the downloaded form comes complete with macros that let you tab from one field to the next and drop-down list to select the month: quite clearly meant to be used for application, filling it out and printing it on the computer. But as you say, print on both sides of one sheet of paper.

Yes the re entry is TM.8; but I used the TM.7 for extension of stay and it was accepted. Which was not the case with a download I tried to use a year or two earlier that was not obtained from Immigration site.

It does specifically state to print the two pages on a single sheet. Had no problem when I did it for my extension of stay like with Lopburi.
