FIVB (Beach Volleyball) Tournament coming to Pattaya, Nov. 5-9, 2014

Featured Replies

Hopefully, some of the top teams will come.

"The International Volleyball Federation’s schedule will feature a new event in 2014, when the $50,000 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women’s Challenger in Pattaya, Thailand, takes place from November 5-9.

The event means beach volleyball in Thailand is back on the FIVB calendar, following successful Open tournaments in Phuket and Bangsaen in previous years. The Challenger is a key part of a long term agreement which has seen the promoter confirmed for four years for a Women’s Open.

The Qualification Tournament, which will be completed on November 5, will see 16 women’s teams compete for four places in the Main Draw, where they will join 24 teams from November 6-9."

The beach will become a rather more popular place all of a sudden.

I love beach volleyball. Use to live in S. California and watched the events there. Amazing athletes.
