One of my Thai friends owns a very small school here in Thailand. She tells me it is registered with the Government as a school. It's got about 5 rooms and mostly does after school classes for students in international schools. She has about 5 teachers that she employs at any given time. She is trying to get a work permit for one of her teachers, but isn't sure how to go about it.

I mentioned I see on this forum people talking about the cost of getting a work permit, the papers required, etc. I wanted to ask for her to see if anyone could point me in the right direction. Particularly:

1. Would she be eligible to apply for a work permit for her teachers since it's a small operation?

2. Is there any links anyone could provide to the paperwork she would need to fill out to get the process started?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
