nivram4491
I need some insulation around my oven and would prefer rockwool insulation over fiberglass insulation. Where can I buy rockwool insulation?
Bcgardener
It's made in Rayong. A company there called Asia VSC sells it but not small quantities, but they might direct you to someone that does. Not sure where you are but I keep some in stock if you just need a small amount. My factory is near Sattahip. By the way, it's called rocktech here. PM me if interested.
masuk
It's the way to go. I used rockwool when re-installing my slow combustion cooker. Fibre glass was not available any longer (in Australia).
eyecatcher
Its not rockwool here but its the equivalent. The rolls are readily available in global etc but i feel you want the batts which are semi solid. Not seen those They are not big on cavity wall insulation and floor insulation here. NancyL
This sort of product would arrive via Thai Post just fine. Maybe someone would send you some via post. I have Brillo pads sent to me from the U.S. and they're basically rockwool embedded with soap.
Dante99
Nancy Rockwool is not the same as steel wool, very different items.
NancyL
No, I know they're different items, but the point I was making is that they both are very lightweight and if I can receive steel wool via post, I would think you could could receive rockwool via post, also, esp. since you won't need a large amount to insulate around an oven.
