jaideeguy
Does anyone out there in 'thaivisaland' know [from personal experience] of the exact requirements for obtaining a medical visa? I know that a person can obtain a long term visa for 'medical reasons' but, what are the reasons that are accepted by Thai immigration. a link to the official regulations concerning this would be appreciated, or first hand info. sabaijai
Am moving this to the visas, etc forum branch, where it should get more response.
eugengeri
IMO, if there is one then it needs a good reason and recognized references from doctors and hospitals for medical treatments. i.e. in the webside Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand, Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, Austria there is writen: MEDICAL TREATMENT (requiring letter from licensed doctor). (Maximum stay 90 days, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
