If I wanted to live between Thailand and Laos, staying for 30-60 days in each place, I should have no issues with immigration or being labelled as a border runner correct? I could do that for as long as I so wished?

From what I can gather Laos has less of an issue with this than Thailand, you can get a 30 day visa, extend it for an extra 30 days, leave over the bridge, turn around and do it again over and over, or so I can gather, anybody able to offer knowledge?

Well yea it is different depending on nationality, but you can then extend it for 2$ a day for another 30. Do that and then come back here for a month or so visiting friends/family, then go back, repeat. No problem with immigration?
