Burgers, steaks, salads, pasta, etc. Looked interesting, imported beef from France. Anyone eaten there?

Ate at Hippopotamus in Paris once, it was superb. (I suspect the steaks were horse meat!) If they have brought the same quality to Thailand it should be good.

Don't know about horsemeat but Tripadviser gives very average ratings to the Bangkok locations, primarily because of the side dishes and service. The beef got some favorable comments.

Hasn't that place closed yet? I've never seen anyone eating in there since it opened.

Taking a unit at the beach end of Central seems to be the kiss of death for many restaurants.

I'm not gone but same price as in France and even food

Been once. Good food and service. Quiet though. Maybe the cuisine is not the most popular for the far eastern tourists.
