2 Questions

Hi guys,

I have 2 questions from 2 friends :

1. One mate of mine's girlfriend is Sri Lankan and is currently here on a single entry tourist visa. 2 months is up next Tuesday. She can extend by another 30 days right ? Some agency said to her she can only extend by 7 days because she is Sri Lankan, sounds like rubbish to me.

2. Another mate from the UK, flew back into Thailand last month on a 30 day visa exempt. Stamp expires 04th October. He wants to extend by 30 days (which i believe is the new rule) but only has 1 page left in his passport. Do you think immigration will do it ?

1. Those from some countries cannot get the 30 day extensions for tourist visa entries. I don't know if Sri Lanka is one of those countries.

2.He can get the 30 day extension for a visa exempt entry. One page is enough to get the extension.

Thanks. If it is the case that some nationlaties dont get the 30 days then im guessing Sri Lanka will be high on the list. Hope she can at least get 7 days anyway.
