Offensive Emoticon

Featured Replies

For a forum as strictly regulated as this one, I find it difficult to understand how this jerk.gif.pagespeed.ce.TMGfqs4Lzz.gif emoticon is allowed. It's crass and frankly disgustingly offensive. Please remove it. Posters could openly call someone a /jerk, but those words would, oddly enough, be 'deleted' by your overly zealous 'cuss word' software. Thanks.angry.gif

On reviewing my post I do indeed see the word obviously associated with this emoticon, deleted. Case in point.

I thought he was popping a zit.

Obviously unblocking a stubborn salt shaker. Happens all the time in the humidity we have here. :)

huh? i've never found shaking a bottle of champagne & then popping it's cork to be the slightest bit offensive.

I always thought it was a broken milkshaker :)

I think it's cute.

I can't see the problem ??? Or maybe it's my eyesight...

I do apologise, judging from the replies I believe this particular w@nk3r emoticon quite fitting for this forum coffee1.gif

Jpeg in a round hole!

jpeg, I don't know how you inserted the salt-shaker emoticon into your post but it is definitely not part of the current selection you get to choose from by clicking on the smile.png icon in the toolbar at the top of the reply box.

I also don't see it available in the more limited selection in Thaivisa's Android app.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

You have to use the right arrow on the emoticon list to go to the next set. I put it in the 2nd set rather than primary so members have to go looking for it. wink.png

Thanks for sharing OP, I will endeavour to use it whenever appropriate from now on. Being a bit of a chef I understand the need for seasoning and I love champagne.

Perhaps now one of the mods has opened a place selling sausage butties we will get the long awaited licking the sizzling sausage emoticon?

I had that upstairs in Bar 29 on Dong Khoi in Saigon last night.

Thank god this has been eradicated. I was highly offended and needed a safe space to wet my pampers...beatdeadhorse.gif

I cannot see the emoji referenced but I can still render a highly charged emotional opinion right?

As the emoticon in mentioned in the op from almost 2 years ago has now been removed - issue resolved - thread closed.
