Im after your help.
I used to live in Thailand but not too sure of the visa situation now so after your advice pls.
My wife and I intend to return to living in Thailand. I will live in Thailand for 8 months a year and work in the UK 4 months to fund our Thai lifestyle.
Can anyone advise on how I might achieve this on a regular annual basis as concerned about visa runs and also refusal of re entry thus stopping me from seeing my family.

Thank you

You can obtain an year long extension of stay with Bt 400,000 in a Thai bank.

Or multi entry non-imm 'O' visa, each entry 90 days be extended for 60 days more, no financial proof needed.

Both have an infinite number of threads running if you can take the time reading.

Your can apply for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage. You will need 400k baht in Thai bank in your name only for 60 days or an income of 40k baht proven by an income letter from the embassy.

You could then get a re-entry permit for your trip to the UK. Single re-entry permit is 1000 baht and a multiple is 3800 baht.

There really should be a sub-forum specifically dedicated to all posted question variations on the theme "how can I stay in Thailand for ..." They seem to be posted once a day and often in multiples ... and in 90% of them, they generate essentially the same answers over and over again.
