Hello,

my old passport was full, so I got a new one in Germany (January) this year. I entered Thailand in April with a triple Tourist Visa issued in Germany. Last time I booked a visa Run to Mae Sai (I stay in Chiang Mai) without having problems to re-enter Thailand the same day. With the current Tourist Visa I can do one more entry. So my question is, if I can do that at Mae Sai again, without having problems and re-enter Thailand the same day?

If it is not possible, what is your idea to use the last entry of my triple Tourist Visa?

Thanks for your help,
fresh

You can use your 3rd entry by crossing and returning on the same day without a problem. Be sure you do it before the enter before date on your visa.

Thanks for your help :)

Do you know if I must show my Flight Ticket back to Germany while re-entering? (Because I don't have one yet)

Thanks,

Hopefully you've checked the expiry date on the printed visa?? You need to make your last entry before it expires. Don't confuse it with the permission to stay hand stamp you received when entering the country. It's the one printed on the visa that will allow you to make a third border entry.

Yes, I also checked the expiry date on the printed visa. I went to Mae Sai yesterday and got two more months without a problem :)

How many days are they now giving for garden variety visa-on-arrival coming from Tachilek to Mae Sai? Is it 15 or 30 days?

If you are from a country that qualifies for a visa on arrival it will always be 15 days and cost you 1000 baht.

If you qualify for a visa exempt entry you will get get 15 days at a border crossing unless you are from a G7 country that would qualify you for 30 day entry.

Thanks for that info. though in typical Thai fashion: it's complicated when it could be simple.

Hi, my triple entry tourist visa runs out 18th Nov but my flight home (Ireland) is 7th Dec... The only border runs I have done were to activate each entry... No 'out/ins'... I would be going to Maesai. Can I do a border run and how long would that give me? 15 or 30 days? Thank you in advance :)

I assume you have already gotten a 30 day extension of your 60 day tourist visa entry.

You will only get a 15 day visa exempt entry if you are Irish. But you can now get a 30 day extension of that entry.

Thank you for that... I really appreciate it.. Put my mind at ease ☺️

Just checking to be sure, my friend is from england.. Do they get 15 or 30 days? Again she has no 'ins/outs'. She's also on a tourist visa but hers runs out around 25 nov and flying home on 7 dec also.
