Apoogies in advance if this turns out to be nothing more than Facebook chit chat but has anyone heard about the Kanchanaburi border being open again for border stamps?

I ask as just a few moments ago I saw this post in a group that I'm a member of on Facebook.

It never closed but you could not get a border pass to enter Myanmar. You had to get a visa from the Myanmar embassy.

I have not seen reports on this forum of it being available for border runs now.
