You can extend it if you have a work permit and documents from an employer.

If not the most it can be extended for is 7 days.

What about border run ubonjoe?I have to wait 2nd of November when my new job will start

It would be best to go out for tourist visa to give you enough time to get an application done for a work permit and etc.

Unless you are from a G7 country you will only get 15 days from a border run that you can extend for 30 days at immigration.

I am from italy

You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry at the border because Italy it is a G7 country.
