PHUKET: -- Main water supplies in Phuket Town will be turned off for seven hours from Saturday night (October 4) into Sunday morning (October 5).

The Water Department will be connecting water lines in Chalerm PhraKiat Rama 9 Park which will cause a disruption of water supply in Phuket Town from 9 pm (October 4) to 3am (October 5).

The following streets and Sois (sub streets) running off them will be affected:

All Choa Fa Road which effects to all Chao fa Village,

Sakdidet Road from Tha Kleng intersection to Sakdidet Soi 1.

All whole Sakdidet Soi 1

Bangkok Road from Yeeteng intersection to the bridge at Phuket Garden Hotel

All Poonpon Road (include Soi 1, 3, 5,7, 11)

Pathipan Road from Yii Teng intersection to Jui Tui intersection.

Only 7 hours !! I would be happy if the water in Patong was turned on for 7 hours per day and only 17 hours off per day/every day turned off. That would be a huge improvement.

How nice to know in advance that the water will be cut off and only for a matter of hours.

Up here in Isaan we have no idea whether we will have water today tomorrow, next week or next month

All Poonpon Road (include Soi 1, 3, 5,7, 11)

Oh dear. There'll be a lot of Thai men missing their Saturday night soapy... ph34r.png
