Hi all ..

Planning to leave for the US in a few weeks.. What should be an acceptable price of a BKK-NY-BKK economy class ticket ...cheapest ticket i have been offered is 42k .. For me flight duration is not the issue, so i cant believe i cant get a better deal .. Let me know guysif you have any suggestions ..

I got a very good price to the US with thaiairbooking.com if you want to check their website. Prices vary from month to month and it really all depends on whether or not an airline is offering anything discounted or not.

Sorry, just realized this is in the Visas section and it really should be in the Travel section to get the best response.

We use www angeltravel com going from U.S. to Bkk but I suspect a company in Thailand might be cheaper going the other way.

i am not sure what i can do to move this from this section to the travel section .. Maybe the Moderators can help !

Newspapers seem to have prices right out of thaiairbooking.com which sbk suggested .. best seems to be 24k on KU .. with taxes etc , i think it should add up to 29k i guess.. sounds not too bad .. i ll speak to them tomorrow..

Try thaifly.com as I have successfully found great fares with them (from the states to Thailand for friends). They have an online booking engine and have a local office on Sukhumvit.

I think you will get a nasty surprise when you find out the real cost for the surcharges for landing fees, insurance and fuel. Not sure what it will be for NY but it is based on the number of sectors you are flying and individual airline. Flying to London is already about 8k in surcharges, NY probably more.
