Thanks! I was waiting for someone to call me names and hurl slurs. That's usually what comes next from these folks considering they seem to be incapable of actual analytical thinking no less the ability to debate issues. If they don't like you! "You're HITLER." Oh well, I grew up in the era of "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me." That was back when people graduated from high school with better than a six grade education. Things have gone downhill since then I'm afraid. -

Ukraine studies debris from new Russian ballistic missile 15:19 , Alexander Butler Ukrainian investigators are studying the debris of a new Russian intermediate-range ballistic missile that was fired at the city of Dnipro on Thursday, the first time such a powerful weapon has been used in the war. Reuters was among a small group of reporters given access to the wreckage of the missile on Sunday. Reporters were asked not disclose the exact location of the site for security reasons. The scorched and crumbled pieces of debris were laid out in a hanger at a facility which conducts weapons forensics. Ukrainian experts study such debris to gain insight into Russian military supply chains, production and how to develop counter-measures. -

One very interesting quote by the OP has been overlooked by posters: " I lived through Orbán’s power grab as a member of Hungary’s parliament". Is JT a "dual-citizen"? Possibly able to be a member of the Hungarian parliament and becoming a member of congress in the US as well (theoretically)? -

British Tourist Found Dead in Phuket Drainage Ditch
The full video (pasted here a few pages back) shows that the guy spent a few seconds looking into the drain from different angles before deciding to climb over the fence. Maybe he saw something interesting - or something he had lost before. Anyway, he decided to climb down and take a better look. It's quite clear from the video that, in climbing down, he slipped backwards and disappeared into the ditch (possibly knocking himself unconscious). If he ended up face down in the waste water, his life would be over in a few minutes. Drunk or not, I think this is a reasonable explanation for this tragic and untimely death.- 1
