How much for a taxi from Patong to the Airport ?

I think the 800 baht included the 100 baht airport charge. Must say I would have though the meter charge should have been more like 600 baht + the 100 baht extra.

Is 800 THB from Patong to the airport normal or is there a way to get a taxi-meter here ?

Btw. Gotta say NCPO did a great job cleaning the beaches... No more harassment or plastic beds... Awesome... Laem Sing has been completely shut down though. Too bad: it was a great place to spend on afternoon

Very tough to get a meter taxi passing by in Patong. Maybe some kind member will give you a mobile phone contact.

Ask the taxi guy at the bottom of the road.
