October 13, 201411 yr Hi Guys, I'm currently looking at having a small intimate wedding in Chiang Mai early next year. Approximately looking at 40-50 people attending and would like to have it possibly at 137 Pillars. Does anyone have any idea what an average western wedding could potentially cost in Chiang Mai?. Understand this may vary depending on how extravagent we want it to be but i'd like to get a fair idea on the most basic cost in holding a wedding in this city. Does anyone also have a wedding planner they can suggest ? and if possible it'd be great if they could share how much they normally would charge to use their service. Thanks! Edited October 13, 201411 yr by ubonjoe Changed next week to next year at OP's request,
October 13, 201411 yr So you only started to plan your wedding party (for 40-50 people) and you want to have it early next week. I wish you the best of luck to put this together.

October 13, 201411 yr The most basic cost is about 1,000 Baht for donations to the temple where you go in the morning for blessings. Beyond that is how ever much you want spend.
October 13, 201411 yr I think you should call 137 Pillars, that might have the answer to all you questions.

October 14, 201411 yr Few years ago a friend of mine got married in Phayao in a nice place, and he paid 10.000thb/ each table for 10 people, including everything but whiskey and wine. Probably it is more expensive now and in Chiang Mai, but may help you in your planning....
