This topic was discussed in 2006 but has been achieved - hence the new thread. Let's hope some senior member with small penis syndrome doesn't troll me again.

Hello People

I was given one of these 60 Baht bank notes commemorating H.M. the King's 60th year in service of Thailand as a gift. I proudly display it as it is something special to me and comes from a very special friend. The value is not important to me personally but visitors often ask me what it's worth. Does anyone have any information on this. This is what the note looks like.

According to The Banknote Catalogue by Somchai Saeng-Ngern, the catalogue value of an uncirculated 2006 Sixty Baht commemorative note is Baht 120. Catalogue values tend to be at the high-end of realistic values and any signs of wear or handling would drop the value quite a bit.

If it's a specimen note (serial shown as 9k followed by a string of zeroes) in uncirculated condition, it could fetch a few thousand baht... photo at the bottom of the page.
