chiangrai
Hi, Here's the thing. My wife and I teach English and neither of us are good with computers. I have started getting our worksheets(documents) from off the net and putting them on a memory stick. She then puts the memory stick onto her laptop, edits them with Windows Words and prints them out. So far so good, but when ever I get a file that Windows Word won't open she can't edit it before printing. I have FreeFileViewer for opening it but that won't edit it. As far as I can see it there's two way's round this, 1- change the filles to windows words format before I give it to her. If that's possible or............ 2-Get an office type program that would open those files. The second solution would be less easy as I would have to learn how to use it and then teach her how to do it in Thai. So recommendations please for a program that converts all documents into windows words format............ Or the simplest office words type of program for editing documents............. Or another possibly more obvious solution if there is one.......... Thanks
RichCor
Microsoft Office (Word) is capable of 'opening' documents of many formats. Though you will have issues documents written as .pdf, or when the document is actually an image (.gif .jpg .png .img ... ) Can you give us an example of what file extensions you can't open/edit?
