Nai Yang Beach in Phuket reorganized by Army rangers

PHUKET, 20 October 2014 (NNT) - Soldiers from the Navy Region 3 along with forest rangers have dismantled tents and structures along the Nai Yang public beach area of Phuket province.

Chief Administrator of the Sakhu Subdistrict Administrative Organization Sumet Suwanrat, along with Navy officers and forest rangers of the Sirinat Marine National Park, has deployed backhoes to remove tents and buildings along the Nai Yang Beach.

The officers have also dismantled a building owned by Mr. Daeng Laolang that was under construction and found to have encroached on the public beach area. Even though he had torn down most of the building, there were still parts of it that have not been removed yet.

Both the Navy officers and forest rangers have, therefore, deployed heavy machinery to rid the building so that the public can have full access to the beach.

Congratulations to all involved.

Now can you just rid the rest of the beaches of Jet Skis & Umbrellas so you will actually be able to see the encroaching buildings.

No umbrellas on the beaches but the jet skis are still there.
