Pattaya28
This 3 metre snake slithered past my window today. Anybody know it's name ?
petercool
Hard to tell from that pic but Google "Rat Snake" as that seems very much like what that is. There are also a few sites dealing with "Snakes in Thailand" with pics for identification.

Beardog
Kinda looks like a very common Keelback snake. It eats frogs toads mice & small rats most likely very harmless to dogs kids or yourself.

Pattaya28
Thanks for comments. Hopefully I'll never see it again, but if I do, I'll shout "Gerald" or "Baz" and see if any response.

avander
I would be interested to know also. We saw one very similar out front of our shophouse early in the morning recently. It was appx. 1m long but quite thick bodied. My own interweb check also yielded a likely Ratsnake? Edited October 23, 2014 by avander
