Israeli Drugged and Robbed by 2 Ladyboys in South Pattaya

israel-4.jpg

PATTAYA: -- On Saturday afternoon a drowsy Israeli was assisted by a Thai woman at a Bar in Walking Street after she spotted the man and realized he needed assistance after he claimed to have been drugged and robbed by 2 Ladyboy’s.

Khun Amporn aged 39 and her foreign boyfriend were drinking at a Beer Bar on Walking Street close to Soi Diamond when she spotted Mr. David Yanis aged 24 stumbling along the street. Initially she assumed he was drunk but it soon became clear that he may have been drugged. She helped him into the bar and called the Police.

Mr. Yanis told officers that he had earlier met 2 Ladyboys and he thinks that medication to induce sleep may have been placed in his drink. He remembers little after meeting the two Ladyboy’s who are alleged to have stolen his Necklace and some money.

Nothing new, no?

If it happens to you, it's quite new!

I'm sure Khun Amporn had the best of intentions towards the victim but she should have left it up-to-him vis-a-vis involving the police. This salacious ladyboy/Pattaya story will now be kicking around the internet for years to come. Maybe to him, some cash and a necklace simply were not worth the embarrassment. It's a world wide web after all.

nothing new meaning similar story comes up frequently.

Its bad enough to be cheated by a woman but to find out even those are now imitation is a bitter pill to swallow,

The Russian actually had a spectacular time with the two ladyboys...all his fantasies were fulfilled...so what's the problem...?

Just stay away from them and drink out of bottles which are visable all the time. I don't want to say that they are all at it, but this story repeats like a broken record !

Well he seemed to be willing to talk to police while still in a confused state.

I am not sure what else she could do to help him, and there is always the possibility he was in dire need of medical attention.

Russian ? what story are you reading ...

Not again, the police have to get out of the cop-shop, leave their somtum (not donuts) behind, and go after these vultures.

Three years ago I was given a rouphie in a bar in BKK. Later I found out it was an act of misguided/ ill-informed revenge. The girl got 6 months in the slammer because it reacted with my BP medication and near killed me. With rouphies the most disconcerting after-effect (apart from dropping dead that is), was the short term memory amnesia. Its lights out.

"Vis-a-vis" the "salaciousness" of the report, that's over-statement in the extreme. A report about possibly being drugged and robbed and then assisted by a good samaritan is certainly not salacious.

The thing is, if you are visiting a sleazy area, expect the worst. Guard against it.

It's called thinking.

If you've never been to such a place before, check it out on the internet before you go.

It's not rocket science.

If similar reports to previously reported stories were not published news reporting worldwide would almost stop.

Where was that reported? And inside your head doesn't count as you have already imagined the victim to be Russian.

What he searched with them ?

Must have mistaken him for an Indian. They seem to be the usual marks here...

Same as you, exactly the same. I was taking ramapril and the roofie did quite a bit of nasty stuff to me. I found the worst part was having what was a kind of nightmare, while I was awake... Weird, I was out of it for days

So now we know Mossad are in town cheesy.gif

Sure thing, mate, because everyone knows every random Israeli sex tourist in Pattaya is a Mossad agent. rolleyes.gif

Drugging/robbing/rapeing of foreigners. Nothing new here.

Don't misunderstand me, I am all for reporting it in the news. But do we need to discuss this here again. I think I've read all possible opinions already. Thai bashing, lady boy bashing, Pattaya and Phuket bashing, blaming the closet guys from all around, blaming the police for not doing anything etc.

No more comment from me on this.

Just a othere day in Pattaya.

Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

If he was in a bar with them all bars have cctv now by law
