Yingluck returns from China

From the OP "...Latprao area, where she was greeted by many people asking to have pictures with her and selfie-taking."

So she is popular in Bangkok, the north and northeast, no wonder the Amart and Suthep had to halt the election in February.

Quote. "so she is popular in Bkk" sorry to disappoint your fling but the operative word being WAS

How can "...Latprao area, where she was greeted by many people asking to have pictures with her and selfie-taking." an event which took place YESTERDAY make you consider that Yingluck WAS popular. It is clear that 'the people' are still with her.

Nice propaganda post BUT do you know how many were there to be able to say she is still popular---was there 33 million to greet her. ??

Again the operative word is SOME people are still with her, in Thailand VIP persons here attract. Look at the escorted local government officials in a motorcade surrounded by the police---only going for a free lunch out.

There's one way to test the two theories; it's called an election. That one side is afraid of elections attests to their lack of confidence in their own popularity. They choose, rather, to attempt to enforce "happiness" at the point of a gun.

The next picture I want to see is her wearing an orange jumpsuit in shackles... No one cares she's back from China.

Just because you claim not to care, many normal people are interested in what she does. But it does seem that you do care enough to comment, again.

mainly those with wives from Isan!
Bigoted much?

Good picture past and future PM's

You may be right, as he is already just as qualified for the PM job as his mother. And you are always on the safe side if you count on the gullibility and short term memory of the lower classes. Just google Imelda Marcos.

Who exactly is in the lower classes?

Is it strictly a wealth issue?

Lots of money = upper class, little or no money = lower class

I wonder if the multi millionaire Generals currently running the country look down on you the same way your looking down on the vast majority of Thais who have less cash than you do.

A lot of people who are deadbeats in their home countries come here, to a developing country, and find themselves at the opposite end of the wealth spectrum and instantly become judgemental bigots.

"The lower classes". I suppose there are several ways to take this. I took it to mean, people who throw feces, burn coffins, throw contaminated human blood and threaten the judiciary. You obviously took it to be something more sinister, perhaps an indication of how your mind works.

Very, very few Thais did any of the things you mention here.

Out of the 67,000,000 Thais how many actually did any of the deeds you list?

Probably less than 1,000, but even if the number was 100,000 that's still only 0.15% of the population - hardly enough to be considered a class.

Good try, but you can't hide the yellow bigotry that easily.

Your much loved Asian style apartheid is coming to an end.

Share the Yellow view that those from the North are sub-human do you?

What if you are not red and live in the rural North.??? Red sympathizers are dwindling up here, but if your not from Issan you would not know.

Out of curiosity, is your wife from Issan? And if so are you offended by Love 1012's post?

I think you're writing off the Shins at your own peril Ginjag, if they're a spent force, what's wrong with holding the promised elections next year then?

They would win it. That is why the last one had to be stopped.

Anyway, returning to the title of the thread, she definitelywon't come back next time, or maybe it's the time after next, and certainly she won't return after that.....

Why oh why won't she slip into exile, it's not as if she was even popular is it?

She wasn't elected before. Only shoved into the vacuum by her brother.

Wait a year now that's Your/PTP penalty for dunging things up.

A very elegant, kindly and caring woman.

Who looked the other way while her brother and his cronies were attempting to rape the country.

Sorry, but she is ugly on the inside. She betrayed her country. When you are PM, ignorance is no excuse.

majority of thais dont think so...as free elections proved

cheesy.gif What did she get last time ?. Under 30% wasn't it ?. And about 45% the time before that ?. And as I can see the 'PDRC' blame coming a mile off, remember more than 90% of the polling stations were open.

Still, you managed to make a comment : well done.

A rose among the thorns, well, in comparison to Chavalit or Samak, I suppose she is "hot", although some may prefer Mark.

Yes definitely Thailand's hottest P.M. WOW!!

Good or bad as a politician I really don't care.... She is freaking hot!

Each to his own but look at it from a person point of view, her stupidity would put me off, on the other hand is it not that with you ?? is it just between the covers ??

I know that you hate her, but do you really think that she is "stupid"?

Underestimating people is a grave mistake.

Underestimating her in what way would be a grave mistake?

Please respond, in what way would be a grave mistake?

And if there's another election? Guess what, she'll get the most again.

And rightly so!! alt=giggle.gif>

A woman who had the gall to be a puppet and the gall to try to fool the Thai people. A woman who contributed basically nothing to Thailand in a two year stint as a fake PM. A woman who continuously said she was not influenced by her convicted brother, which nobody in their right mind would ever believe. A woman who ignored massively corruption, a woman who many would believe is criminally derelict in terms of her total lack of any attention to possibly the biggest scam this country has ever seen.

Your logic is really strange.

Lets' also keep in mind that plenty of people in all countries ogle and swoon over many so called 'movie stars', and 'celebrities', many of who have had their children removed from them because of domestic violence, serious lack of caring, emotional pain, numerous drug and driving under the influence charges, violence, etc etc etc.

for what it's worth, I have Thai friends who hate her and verbally spit on her much more than your first paragraph does (they can be cruel), and then I have Thai friends who liked her as PM and thought that she was doing her best for Thailand and the Thai people. The latter group tended to be more rational in their assessment of her. The former tended to foam at the mouth and make me wonder if my shots were up-to-date.

People like to be seen with Presidents, too. George Bush and Barak Obama are both loved and hated. The achievements of both can be questioned or praised. It's no different with Yingluck. Well, OK, it's a bit different. unlike George Bush, she actually won her first election. alt=thumbsup.gif>

"I have Thai friends who liked her as PM and thought that she was doing her best for Thailand and the Thai people."

You and your 'friends' obviously have very low and twisted goals in this matter.

you should really be smart enough to limit your insults to me and leave my friends out of it.

Let me show you how it works...

"your friends are so smart and good looking. It's amazing that they hang out with you"

Besides with your recent and unjustified insults of my friends you can just take a hike.

Yinglucks return is of no importance to most people, as an ordinary mother she hopefully has time to take care of her son who must have missed his mother when she was on her 50 trips away in the 3 years.

Most votes Ginjag, votes, not a concept that you agree with I know, but votes are what, in the end, when the uniforms fade, the medals tarnish and the guns get rusty, qualify people to form governments. And votes, not guns, medals and uniforms, are the means used to remove them from power when the people, a majority of them, think it is neccessary. Enjoy the warm moist feeling which a coup installed government obviousley brings you, because it will not last for ever, or even I suspect for all that long.
