Yahoo Cannot open - Untrusted Site?

Featured Replies

Today, after some repair at my PC I cannot open my Yahoo Mail in any browser.

They all report that Yahoo is un untrusted site and I should close the connection. When I continue despite the warning, the website does not totally load, only fragments are visible and I cannot proceed to the mail service.

Does anyone else experience this what can be done?

Repair?

Did you check date and time on the PC?

Its not by chance January 1980 or something similar wrong?

Sometimes such "experts" exchange the lithium cell (for BIOS) and forget to set the date.

Wrong date and time result in the security certificate to be out of valid range (from ..,. to).

You would experience with other secure sites too (like internet banking).

new version of Google Chrome Browser installed ?

I agree, all yahoo sites should NOT be trusted

You are absolutely right, Khun Benq, that was the reason. They replaced the battery and I didn't notice the date and time was not set.

After I set it, all is fine and Yahoo Mail works normal.

Thanks a lot for your expert advice.
