Also for that 30 day extensions are possible at any immigration office.
November 6, 201411 yr Author I want to activate second entry. I have tourist visa 2 entries, I stayed 2 months, went to imigration to extend for 30 days and now after 90 days I want another 90 days, 60 from border and 30 from extension. Edited November 6, 201411 yr by travis1234
November 6, 201411 yr I would recommend you take a budget flight to KL and back. Not much more expensive and for sure much safer.

He only needs to cross the border and back.
November 6, 201411 yr Do a quick Google for Phuket visa run, and call one of the visa run companies and explain the situation, they will have the most up to date information.

November 6, 201411 yr You can try Eve Visa Run 0815352637 But, as mentioned above, a quick trip to KL is fast, cheap, and very safe. Edited November 6, 201411 yr by Shot

November 22, 201411 yr I'm on a multi O visa and plan to spend a weekend in Ranong to do the stamps. Does anyone know if I have to show money (20,000 thb?) before allowed entry to Thailand again? Thanks.
November 22, 201411 yr Why not post in the Visa Section you will get the correct answers asap from Ubonjoe.
November 22, 201411 yr Why not post in the Visa Section you will get the correct answers asap from Ubonjoe. Local knowledge might be better. Input from recent Ranong visa runners would help the OP.
November 22, 201411 yr Okay, I try in the visa section too. I didn't find any info about Ranong in the visa section. Other border towns might not be the same. Phuket locals should be indeed be a better bet imho. I heard about people re-entering who had to show money but not sure where and if they were on an O-visa. Looks like Ranong will be deserted. Looking forward to be on the road without the visa-run van "drivers".
November 23, 201411 yr when i was up, there in Oct they town was indeed empty of Farangs YET the tuk tuk an motos still try to charge crazy prices( 100-200 baht/person!!) to go from immigration to the bus stop when it can be done by Songtaew for 30 baht Stayed in a nice hotel next to the large resort an got to use the pool there as well an had some tasty Japanese food for dinner. ON the second entry they MIGHT ask for ticket out of Thailand. BUT they will tell u when they stamp u out of the country if they will allow you back in, so make sure u head up a day or two early so if u need change plan's ur not going to end up on an overstay PS gf was on a Multi B visa an had to give them copies of wp , visa page an front page of her passport ( she is Cambodian) No need to show any $$ Edited November 23, 201411 yr by phuketrichard

December 1, 201411 yr I wasn't asked to show anything at the Andaman Club. No money, no marriage certificate, no wp. Very quiet but boats still operating as before (roughly every hour). Only gamblers now.
