ALLSEEINGEYE
you see it's not just the Burmese that are used as scapegoats. She was probably set up to deflect attention from the real shipment.

stoli
Who gave the tip to make an X-ray scan on her? Or was she so stupid to jump in the x-Ray scanner for the baggage? x-ray scanners for passengers are pretty much common now-a-days. Hold your arms up and smile. haybilly
Since when were X Ray scanners for passengers pretty commonplace? I've never been through one.

Farma
Since when were X Ray scanners for passengers pretty commonplace? I've never been through one. I've been through the Xray scanner twice in the past 6 months. It seems to be hit or miss based on the scanner queues whether you're directed to normal or Xray scanner. If she had any sense she would have walked away stating she didn't want to be xrayed, but just patted down instead. Even in the USA you have that option. Si Thea01
The name reported is not a Vietnamese name. Maybe they pronounce it way too wrong. You should know what the translations, spelling and typos are like in the Press. Try adding UY and you will get NGUYEN, a very common Vietnamese name. It's like SMITH in English.

arnestockholm
There Is no X-ray scanner for humans available at any airport security. What you mean is an full body scanner but this one can't see what is inside your body. If they would scan inside your body it would be a real health issue for frequent traveler!
