Chainat-Surin

Featured Replies

Next month I have to make my way from Chainat to Surin by car on my own, it seems there are various routes I can take. During the journey I’m not really interested in sightseeing, just getting there in a reasonable time.

Chainat-Lopburi, then down road 1, into Singburi then out on road 2, or cut across the top of Singburi to road 2.

Before Korat swing off onto road 24 then up the 214 to Surin. Alternatively, take the 226 out of Korat all the way to Surin.

They seem to be my options, they’re all roads that I’ve driven on in the past, but not for a few years now, so I’m not current with what they’re like these days.

An approximate length of time it’ll take will be handy as well. I have satnav but until I actually arrive in Thailand and start using it I have no idea how good it will be.
