90 day reporting - documents required

Featured Replies

Just moved to Hua Hin and shortly need to do my 90 day reporting...

Besides the TM7 - what other documents are required ?

Since you just moved there you might need a completed TM47 form and proof of address. If the passport scanner is working properly it will show the address where you reported last and they will need the paperwork to update it. There are no GPS tracking chips in your passport, YET!

By law, you should have filed a TM28 form within 24 hours of moving there, but most offices ignore the requirement and accept the TM47 form with an address in their jurisdiction at the 90 day report time with no fine. The "house master" of the place where you are living should have also filed a TM30 form reporting that you are living there. In the past this requirement was only being enforced for hotels, etc. but some offices have recently applied the requirement to private residences.

After the first report there it should be as stated above, just your passport.
